HONEY QUEEN - PURE NORFOLK / SUFFOLK / ESSEX HONEY
At Honey Queen, we believe exceptional honey starts with
exceptional forage. Our bees are kept across carefully selected apiaries in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, where they forage naturally among wildflowers, hedgerows, flowering trees and bee-friendly crops including borage, clover, beans, vetch and oil seed rape.
Each harvest reflects the landscape and season, creating beautifully balanced British honey with its own unique character. Our honey is harvested twice a year once in spring after the oilseed rape has
finished flowering, and again in late summer. It is gently extracted from the comb, lightly sieved to remove beeswax, and bottled exactly as nature intended.
Nothing is added. Nothing is taken away. Just 100% pure British honey.
Because our honey is completely natural, it will gradually crystallise over time. This is a sign of quality, not deterioration. Simply stand the jar in
warm water and the honey will return to its smooth, runny consistency.
Norfolk
Our Norfolk honey comes from apiaries in Ketteringham, Illington and
Garboldisham, surrounded by wildflower margins, mature hedgerows, woodland and
productive farmland. The rich diversity of forage produces a beautifully
rounded, floral honey.
Suffolk
Our Suffolk honey is produced on a regenerative farm in Knettishall, where bees
forage among wildflowers, hedgerows, fruit trees and carefully managed
countryside. The result is a wonderfully complex honey that reflects the
natural landscape.
Essex
Our Essex honey comes from an apiary in Little Maplestead, where fields of
vibrant borage create one of the bees' favourite nectar sources. The result is
a delicate, light floral honey with exceptional clarity and sweetness—the
perfect foundation for our signature Peckham Heat Scotch Bonnet Hot Honey.
